BBDO New York has a new chief creative officer. scott Bell, after a 17-year run at Droga5, is taking on the role at the rival agency. Bell’s creative journey at Droga5 saw him rise from copywriter to CCO, spearheading campaigns for brands like Newcastle Brown Ale, Johnsonville, and IHOP.
Bell will work alongside CEO Jiah Choi and Chief Strategy Officer Emily Portnoy on the New york leadership team.The move comes as BBDO shifts its focus to ”Do Big Things,” a departure from its previous tagline.
