The operations, reported by Baogialai, involve multiple military units executing artillery drills, air strikes, and equipment testing from altitudes ranging between 100 and 6,000 meters.
Schedule and Aircraft Deployment at Binh An Range
Military training kicked off on October 9, running from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, with technical tests targeting artillery pieces using water-filled projectiles. Operations resume on October 12 from 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM, featuring live-firing and bombing runs by the 925th and 930th Regiments belonging to the 372nd Air Force Division, Baogialai reported.
The scheduled exercises deploy Su-27 aircraft and helicopters. Flight paths originate from Phu Cat Airport, proceed to the TB2 shooting range, and return to Phu Cat Airport.
Heavy Weaponry Deploys to Binh An Training Range
The drills incorporate a wide array of heavy weaponry and combat vehicles. Equipment deployed for the technical tests and artillery firing includes 130mm, 152mm, 105mm, 37mm, and 57mm cannons, along with SPG-9 self-propelled guns.

Mortars ranging from 100mm, 82mm, to 60mm are also integrated alongside 12.7mm anti-aircraft heavy machine guns, B41 rocket-propelled grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and vehicle crews.
The Binh An training range shares specific local borders. The facility sits adjacent to Binh Hiep commune to the north and northeast, Binh An commune to the south and southeast, and Binh Phu commune to the west and southwest.
Officials Restrict Access to Live-Fire Training Zones
The Second National Military Training Center issued formal notices to local agencies, organizations, units, and municipal authorities. Officials require all personnel and general citizens to avoid entering the designated training zone during active live-fire windows to guarantee safety.
