Seleem Choudhury Named CEO of UChicago Medicine AdventHealth ⁢GlenOaks

Seleem choudhury, a Doctor⁢ of ⁢Nursing Practice and registered nurse, will assume the role​ of president‌ and CEO ⁤at UChicago ‍Medicine adventhealth glenoaks in ​Glendale Heights, Ill., ‍effective June 15.Choudhury’s appointment brings two decades of experience in both academic and community hospital ​settings to the UChicago Medicine⁢ AdventHealth team.

Choudhury joins the institution from Adventist HealthCare ​shady Grove Medical Center, where he has been‍ chief operations officer since 2021. His career includes ⁤positions​ such as chief nursing officer for New York City ⁢Health and Hospitals, ‌senior vice president​ of executive clinical network operations for the University of Vermont health‍ Network, president of ‌Porter Medical Center, and vice president of professional services for Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital. His expertise in healthcare leadership and hospital operations makes him a strong choice for this ⁤key leadership role.

Choudhury’s educational background includes a bachelor’s‌ degree in⁤ nursing ⁤from Middlesex University ‌in the ​United ⁢Kingdom, a Master of Nursing, a⁢ Master of Business‍ Management⁤ from the University of Phoenix, and a Doctor of ‌Nursing Practice from the⁣ University of ⁣Vermont. He is also a fellow of the Academy ‍of Emergency Nursing and a graduate of the Baldrige executive Fellows Program. His blend of clinical and ‍administrative experience ‍positions him‌ well to lead‍ UChicago ⁤Medicine adventhealth GlenOaks.
