Zamalek FC Transfer News: Senegalese Striker Sidi Ndiaye Arrives in Cairo
Senegalese striker Al-Shabaab Sidi Ndiaye, a player of Senegalese club Guidiaoui, has arrived in Cairo in preparation to complete his transfer to Zamalek FC.
Ndiaye’s transfer is expected to be a free signing, as his contract with Guidiaoui is set to expire. The player’s arrival in Cairo marks a significant step towards strengthening Zamalek’s front line.
Zamalek’s Transfer Plans
According to sources, Ndiaye will be registered as an under-age player, following a deal that was made at the request of Portuguese coach Jose Gomez. This move is part of Zamalek’s efforts to bolster their ranks ahead of the new season.
Zamalek has already made several signings, including Moroccan full-back Mahmoud Ben Tayek from Saint-Etienne in France and Palestinian Omar Farag to strengthen the front line. The team has also announced the acquisition of an international card for Gabon player Aaron Buendeja, who will arrive on a free transfer.
Upcoming Matches
Zamalek is currently preparing to face Kenyan Police next Saturday afternoon in the first leg of the round of 32 of the African Confederation Cup (2024-2025). The team will also face their traditional rivals, Al-Ahly, on September 27, at the Kingdom Arena in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
