• The production index of manufacturing industries excluding oil refining recorded, during the second quarter of 2025, an increase of 7% compared to the same period of 2024, according to the HCP (High Commissioner for Planning). This increase is mainly explained by increases in production indices in several branches, especially the chemical industry (9.3%), the “manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products” (10.8%), the “food industries” (9%), and the “manufacturing of tobacco-based products” (19.1%).
