Many citizens are interested in finding out when daylight saving time ends and winter time begins.
In the following lines, Masrawi observes the date of clock change in Egypt and the start of winter time.
Daylight Saving Time began on Friday, April 26 and Daylight Saving Time will continue in 2024, according to the Cabinet, for 6 months, clocks will be 60 minutes ahead of normal winter time during daylight saving time. .
Regarding the start date of the implementation of winter time in Egypt in 2024, winter time will start at exactly 12 midnight on the last Thursday of next October.
Next Thursday, October 31, 2024, marks the end of daylight saving time and the start of winter time in Egypt, as the clocks will be delayed by 60 minutes for the 2024 winter time.
And about the closing date of stores and cafes in 2024
The new closing dates for shops and cafes are as follows:
Business starts daily at 7 am and closes at 10 pm.
Working hours are extended by an additional hour on Thursdays and Fridays as well as public holidays.
Restaurants and cafes are closed until 12 midnight, 24-hour delivery service is allowed.
Workshop closing date 2024
The workshop runs from 8 am to 6 pm.
Workshops located in the area of roads and gas stations are excluded to meet the needs of citizens.
There are also activities excluded from the closing hours such as bakeries, pharmacies, grocery stores, and fruit and vegetable shops to provide basic needs of citizens.
