Andy Samberg, known for his comedic roles and playful banter, recently commented on the passing of Seth Meyers’ dog, Frisbee, who died a week prior to the comments at the age of 14. Samberg’s remarks came during an interview with fellow Saturday Night Live (SNL) alum Kate McKinnon for Entertainment Tonight.

Samberg’s Playful Remarks on frisbee’s Passing
When McKinnon asked for his final words on Frisbee, Samberg quipped, ”I didn’t kill Frisbee. Much as that would’ve delighted me.” He continued his playful ribbing when asked about his “beef” with the dog, joking that it stemmed from Frisbee’s “general appearance and vibe, and essence.”
Samberg clarified that he doesn’t want to disrespect the death of an animal, but admitted that “in this instance, it was inarguably pretty funny. Sick burn on seth and he deserves nothing but pain. Just a bad person.”
A Long-Running Comedic Bit
Samberg’s mock animosity towards Frisbee has been a recurring joke between him and Meyers for years. Samberg has taken playful jabs at Frisbee whenever the chance arose.
