Seth Rollins Discloses The Vertebra Fracture On Air
She’s coming off a recent injury. I don’t even know if I’m supposed to say that actually.

Rollins quickly corrected himself to clarify the precise nature of the spinal injury.
She didn’t break her back. Her back was broken. She had a little fracture in one of her vertebrae that—so she was out of action. She couldn’t wrestle for six weeks or so.

The Times of India noted that the injury occurred prior to her October 5 match against Liv Morgan on Monday Night RAW. Rollins also stated on the program, I’m good. Chill. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I’m comfortable. I’m always sort of a little like on edge like—well, just because you don’t want her to get hurt, you know what I mean?
In-Ring Return and Championship Picture
Lynch stepped away from television following an extended run in the early summer before returning to WWE programming in August. Her official in-ring return took place on the October 5 episode of RAW against Liv Morgan, where the match ended in a disqualification after Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer interfered.

Upcoming Triple Threat Clash at Money in the Bank 2026
Lynch is scheduled to challenge Stephanie Vaquer and Liv Morgan in a Triple Threat match for the Women’s World Championship at Money in the Bank 2026. The premium live event takes place at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. Rollins admitted to lingering concerns regarding his wife’s back ahead of the physical championship bout.

Rollins also expressed relief that Lynch is competing in a traditional Triple Threat match rather than enduring the high-risk falls associated with the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, noting, And now, luckily, she’s not in these ladder matches, which, you know, that I—that would be like full-on clenched, but like she’s—she’s just in the triple threat. Um, it’ll be physical. It’ll be a fight, but there’s no—you’re not falling from 10 feet off a ladder through another ladder. There’s—there’s—there’s less danger in a standard triple threat match.
