According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan on the 29th, SEVENTEEN’s “MANSAE” received a “Gold” certification in the streaming category for surpassing 50 million cumulative streams in July. The song is the title track of SEVENTEEN’s 2nd mini album “BOYS BE” released in 2015, and Woozi participated in writing the lyrics and composing the song, wittily expressing a boy’s love.
The Recording Industry Association of Japan awards certification every month based on the cumulative number of plays (streaming) of a song: Gold (over 50 million), Platinum (over 100 million), and Diamond (over 500 million).
SEVENTEEN has a total of 12 streaming ‘Gold’ certified songs, including ‘Manse’, ‘Very NICE’, ‘Don’t Wanna Cry’, ‘Pretty’, ‘Left & Right’, ‘Ready to Love’, ‘Rock with you’, ‘HIT’, ‘Son Oh Gong’, ‘HOT’, ‘Dar+ling’, and ‘Applause’.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will be releasing their 12th mini album and embarking on a world tour ‘SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE WORLD TOUR’ in October. They are also planning a dome tour and single album release in Japan. Before that, they will headline ‘Lollapalooza Berlin’ at Olympiastadion Berlin, Germany on September 8 (local time).
