Punk Rock Legends Sex Pistols to Headline Rock for People 2025
Hradec Králové, Czech Republic – Get ready to mosh! Legendary punk rockers Sex Pistols are set to headline the 30th anniversary of Rock for People festival in 2025. The announcement, made on Christmas Day, sent shockwaves through the music world, promising a fiery performance from one of punk’s most iconic bands.
The Sex Pistols, known for their raw energy and rebellious anthems, will be performing without original frontman Johnny Rotten.Instead,they’ll be fronted by Frank Carter,known for his work with bands like Rattlesnakes and Gallows. This new lineup, featuring original members Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock, has already ignited crowds on their recent reunion tour, playing their seminal album “Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols” in its entirety.
“Legends and pioneers of punk-rock culture are coming to the Czech Republic,” confirmed festival organizers Ameba production. “These British revolutionaries, celebrating an amazing 50 years in music, will take the stage in a fresh lineup.”
The Sex Pistols will bring their explosive energy to Hradec Králové on Friday, June 13th. This marks their return to the Czech Republic after a previous performance in Prague in 1996 during their ”Filthy lucre” tour.
The 2025 Rock for People festival promises to be a monumental celebration, featuring a star-studded lineup including Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Biffy Clyro, and Linkin Park. Adding to the excitement,Guns N’ Roses will perform a special “birthday” concert on Sunday,June 15th,with separate tickets required.
