Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been dealt another blow to his cricketing career, facing a suspension from bowling in all ICC-sanctioned competitions. This comes after the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the suspension, following a similar ruling by the england and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
Shakib’s troubles began in September when he was reported for a suspect bowling action during a county cricket match in England. An independent assessment at Loughborough University, an ICC-accredited testing center, confirmed the irregularity, leading to the ECB’s suspension.

“The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has been informed that national team allrounder Shakib Al Hasan has been suspended from bowling in competitions under the jurisdiction of the England and Wales cricket Board (ECB).as an inevitable result, Shakib is also suspended from bowling in domestic cricket competitions outside Bangladesh and in international cricket,” the BCB stated.
the BCB added that Shakib will undergo reassessment at an accredited testing center in an effort to clear his action and lift the suspension.
