Shane McMahon has spoken out regarding speculation about his and Vince McMahon’s next steps in the wrestling world. He refuted claims that they are planning to start a rival wrestling company.
In a TMZ interview, McMahon addressed the rumors directly.While not ruling out future WWE involvement, he stated the reports of a new promotion were “false.” The wrestling executive also acknowledged having had talks with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), wishing them “continued success.” Though, he emphasized that AEW “is not WWE,” the company he helped build.
Regarding his father,Vince McMahon,Shane noted that Vince “is a big part of TKO still,” referencing his remaining holdings in the company.He added that “anything can happen” regarding Vince’s future involvement.
Shane McMahon also offered an update on Vince’s well-being since his resignation from TKO and WWE in January 2024. He reported that his father “is doing really well” and “enjoying life.” He characterized Vince as always being “gung ho” and focused on “the next thing.”
