Colombo, Sri lanka – Najmul hossain Shanto has resigned from his role as Test captain for Bangladesh following an innings-and-78-run defeat to Sri Lanka. ⁣Shanto, 26, announced his⁣ decision after the second Test, stating it was “for the betterment of the team.”
