Volunteer Opportunity: Teach Japanese Language Classes at Waseda University
The Waseda University Japanese Language Education and Research Center is seeking volunteers to teach Japanese language classes. We invite Waseda students who are passionate about Japanese language, international exchange, intercultural communication, and volunteer activities to apply.
Eligibility and Application Process
Target Audience: Waseda University undergraduate and graduate students
Application Process:
- Entry Period:
- 1st round of recruitment: September 20 (Friday) – September 26 (Thursday)
- Second round of recruitment: October 15 (Tuesday) – October 21 (Monday)
- During the application period, please fill out the application form “Japanese Language Class Volunteer Recruitment (For Waseda University Students)” and apply for the days and times you would like to participate as a volunteer.
- The Japanese Language Center will match you with available Japanese language courses based on the day and time you apply.
- The Japanese Language Center will inform you of the Japanese language subjects you will be responsible for via “MyWaseda Announcements.”
- The teacher in charge will contact you regarding the details of your volunteer activities (within 1-2 weeks from the day after the announcement).
- You will be registered as a guest on Waseda Moodle as a volunteer representative.
- Please participate as a volunteer in classes as instructed by your instructor.
