Sharjah Announces Eid Al⁤ Adha‌ Transport Plan for Enhanced Travel

The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has revealed its comprehensive transport plan for​ the Eid ⁣Al Adha holiday in 2025. Aiming to ⁣provide safe and convenient travel, the plan addresses ⁢the expected surge in ⁣demand during the festive ⁤period.

During the Eid Al⁢ Adha holiday from June 5–8, SRTA will deploy 180 buses across Sharjah, operating over‌ 5,600 trips. The increased bus frequency will see buses‍ running every five minutes ⁤during ​peak hours, a significant reduction from the usual 45-minute intervals.

Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, head of the SRTA, emphasized the importance of preparedness during holidays​ to ensure smooth Sharjah Eid Al Adha transport operations.

Within sharjah City, 104 buses will serve​ 12 routes, completing 1,144 daily trips and covering 543 stops. jubail Bus station will ⁤remain open from early morning until⁤ late evening, with additional staff deployed to manage​ the increased passenger flow.

Engineer⁣ Yousef Khamis Al ‌Othmani, the head of the SRTA, highlighted the importance of being well-prepared during holidays.
