Recognizing Exceptional Educators: Cassidy Diamond Receives the Provo Way Award

Cassidy Diamond, a dedicated teacher at Franklin Elementary, has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to the Provo City School District community. She was nominated by a colleague, who had the opportunity to work alongside her and experience her exceptional mentorship firsthand.

The Provo Way Awards are presented monthly by the Provo City School District and Board of Education to acknowledge the positive impact made by students, teachers, administrators, parents, and staff. This prestigious award highlights the remarkable work being done in the community, and Cassidy Diamond is a shining example of dedication and excellence in education.

As a testament to her exceptional mentorship, Turner, a colleague who had the privilege of working with Cassidy Diamond, shared his heartfelt appreciation for her guidance and support. “Cassidy Diamond was my student mentor teacher, and then I was hired as part of her team,” Turner said. “She’s a great person to bounce ideas off of. If a lesson isn’t going well, I can ask her: How did you teach it? What manipulatives did you use? Then you can try it out in your own class. Cassidy is a good example.”

Cassidy Diamond’s commitment to education and her ability to inspire and motivate others make her an invaluable asset to the Provo City School District community. Her recognition as a Provo Way Award recipient is a well-deserved tribute to her hard work and dedication.

Congratulations to Cassidy Diamond on this outstanding achievement!
