A large alligator killed and consumed a smaller alligator in front of visitors at Gatorland in Orlando, Florida.

The incident occurred on March 30 and was captured on video by a park guest, Chris Hester.

According to footage and accounts provided to Storyful, the event took place while visitors were feeding the animals. Hester stated that he and others had purchased food to feed the alligators when the interaction occurred.

The attack happened when a smaller alligator mistakenly swam directly over the head of a larger predator. The larger reptile immediately clamped its jaws onto the smaller alligator and dragged it underwater.

Hester described the sequence of events, stating, As we were feeding them a small gator swam over the head of a large gator, as it swam over his head the large gator snatched him into his mouth and took him underwater.
