Shocking Blow for Real Madrid: Star Player Sidelined for Weeks with Devastating Injury
Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz Sidelined with Thigh Injury
Real Madrid’s Spanish winger, Brahim Diaz, will be out of action for several weeks due to a right thigh muscle strain, the club confirmed on Sunday.
The 25-year-old Moroccan international was forced off the field in the 23rd minute of Saturday’s 2-0 win over Real Sociedad in the fifth round of the league. A medical examination by the Real Madrid staff revealed an adductor longus muscle injury in his right leg.
Although the club did not specify the duration of Diaz’s absence, local reports suggest that he may be out for at least a month. Some sources even indicate that his recovery could take up to three months.
Diaz will miss several crucial matches, including Real Madrid’s Champions League fixtures and Spanish league games, such as the highly anticipated capital derby against Atlético Madrid on September 29.
The Moroccan winger joins a growing list of injured Real Madrid players, including Jude Bellingham, Aurelien Choumini, David Alaba, and Dani Carvajal. However, coach Carlo Ancelotti has expressed optimism about the potential return of Bellingham and Choumini in the near future.
