Kim ‌Min-a, a ⁤renowned sports announcer, has recently⁢ revealed that she ⁤got divorced five years ago. The news came as a ‍surprise ‍to many, ⁤as she was known for her successful⁤ career ​and charming ‍on-screen presence.

Kim Min-a took to⁢ Instagram to address ‍the news, ​stating, “That’s ‌what happened. It was hard to say it casually.” She expressed her gratitude towards those who knew about her divorce but ⁤chose not to pry, saying,‍ “No one around me asked me, and those who knew about it ⁤pretended​ not to know for a long time.”

Kim Min-a also shared her thoughts on the timing of the⁣ revelation,⁢ saying, “It takes exactly‌ this long for all the comments and reactions to stop feeling ​like arrows.” She acknowledged that people ‌might be curious about why she didn’t reveal the news sooner, but emphasized⁤ that she’s been working hard ⁢and moving ⁢forward.

According to Sports Kyunghyang, Kim Min-a got​ divorced in 2019,⁣ five years after ‌marrying a golf businessman of the same age in 2014. She attributed the ⁢divorce to‌ personality differences and‍ clarified that she didn’t intentionally hide the news.

Kim ⁣Min-a has been keeping busy with new projects, including manufacturing baseball and golf-related products. She expressed​ her excitement‍ about this new chapter ⁣in her life, saying, “I’m ‌excited these days because⁢ it feels⁢ like a new life has begun after turning 40.”

Kim Min-a’s career in sports broadcasting spans over ‌a decade. ‌She joined MBC Sports ⁣Plus as an ⁢announcer in ‌2007‍ and gained popularity for hosting ‘Baseball Tonight⁣ Ya’ and ‘The Man⁢ Who Reads Baseball’. She later moved to SBS ‌Sports‌ in 2014 and completed her ‌contract in June 2022. Last year,​ she hosted the SBS Golf 2 national ​special‌ talk show, and recently returned as an MC for SPOTV’s ‘Spotime Baseball’ in May.
