Shraddha Dubey Evaded Police For 11 Days In Shiva Sharma Murder

Shraddha Dubey evaded police surveillance for 11 days following the murder of cafe operator Shiva Sharma by abandoning her phone’s SIM card and following instructional YouTube videos sent by an associate in Mumbai, jagran.com reported. The suspect carried approximately 800,000 rupees in cash during her flight, paying taxi drivers and hotel staff above standard rates to prevent them from alerting authorities.

Escape Route and Legal Advice

Following the killing, Shraddha Dubey fled alongside her sister Rashmi Dubey and driver Danish, also known as Tanvir, in a taxi provided by Amir from Dubagga, according to police sources cited by jagran.com. Along the journey, the group consulted a lawyer who advised the suspect to remain in hiding and assured her that anticipatory bail would be arranged simply by signing an affidavit.

Digital Evasion Tactics in Nepal

Acting on instructions from Amir, Shraddha Dubey crossed into Nepal, where she received a local SIM card sent by Amir and activated it upon arrival, jagran.com reported. Once in Nepal, she contacted an associate in Mumbai who warned her that law enforcement could track her physical location through active cellular surveillance. The associate sent a YouTube video link, which the suspect accessed using a taxi driver’s hotspot after removing the SIM cards from the group’s mobile phones.

Financial Trail and Ongoing Investigation

Investigative agencies are examining the financial trail left by the suspects, who funded their 11-day evasion with cash, as reported by jagran.com. Police sources show that the suspect distributed excess payments to transit operators and lodging staff to secure their silence while moving across different locations.
