sigma Unveils New Lenses: 12mm f/1.4 and 200mm f/2
Sigma has announced two new lenses: an ultra-wide 12mm f/1.4 for APS-C mirrorless cameras and a full-frame 200mm f/2 telephoto prime.
12mm f/1.4 for APS-C:
Compatibility: Available for Sony E, Canon RF, and Fujifilm X-mount cameras.
Price: £519 (US and Australia pricing to be confirmed). Features: This lens is the fifth in Sigma’s line of f/1.4 primes for APS-C, joining the 16mm, 23mm, 30mm, and 56mm options.it offers a 18mm equivalent focal length in full-frame terms,making it suitable for astrophotography.
Previous Testing: Sigma’s existing f/1.4 primes have been praised for their optical performance, lightweight design, and compact form factor (tested with Canon mirrorless cameras).
200mm f/2 (Full-Frame):
Compatibility: Available for Sony E and L-mount cameras.
Price: £2,999 (US and Australia pricing to be confirmed).
