Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8: Hospital Authority Services to Resume
The Hospital Authority announced that all general outpatient clinics, specialist outpatient clinics, allied health and other day services under its jurisdiction will gradually resume services within two hours after the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is cancelled.
If patients with chronic diseases or specialist outpatient services who have made follow-up appointments at the above clinics are unable to attend due to the impact of the typhoon, please follow the instructions on the follow-up paper to arrange the appointment. For patients who have made appointments for general outpatient clinics through the telephone appointment system or the mobile application “HA Go”, please make a new appointment one hour after the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is canceled.
A spokesman for the Hospital Authority said that some patients were unable to attend appointments due to bad weather and the number of patients seeking treatment is expected to increase in the next few days. The Hospital Authority has taken various measures to strengthen manpower and services to meet demand, and will try its best to provide assistance to patients in need.
