Just a day before the shooting, Aispuro posted a video detailing a robbery at his home and revealing he had disconnected his security cameras due to rumors circulating in Culiacán.
The violence began in October with the murder of Juan Carlos,a TikToker known as “El Chilango.” Juan Carlos, who sold candy and USB drives on the streets of Culiacán, often referenced the “La Chapiza” faction, linked to the sons of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, in his videos.He even appeared alongside popular influencer Markitos Toys in one of his clips.
In November,the body of Jesús Miguel Vivanco García,known as “Jasper,” was found with signs of torture. The 29-year-old singer and friend of Markitos Toys had been reported missing days earlier.Vivanco’s name appears in a U.S.Treasury Department inquiry for alleged ties to El Chapo’s sons.
