Sinclair Appoints Narinder Sahai as New CFO, Ushering in Next Phase of Growth
HUNT VALLEY, MD – Sinclair Broadcast Group today announced the appointment of Narinder Sahai as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Sahai succeeds lucy Rutishauser, who will retire later this year after a transition period serving as EVP and then as Senior Advisor.
Sahai brings over two decades of financial leadership experience from both publicly traded and private-equity-backed companies. his expertise spans the entire financial spectrum, including capital markets, treasury, controllership, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, and financial planning & analysis. Notably, Sahai also possesses significant technology acumen, particularly in artificial intelligence and machine learning, cultivated during his tenure at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and underpinned by his academic background in electronics and electrical communication engineering.
Prior to joining Sinclair, Sahai served as CFO of Arcis, a leisure and hospitality operator, overseeing all financial functions. He previously held the CFO position at RumbleOn, inc.
his experience at AWS was pivotal, where he led financial strategy for the Compute and AI/Machine Learning services’ global go-to-market teams.Before AWS, Sahai was Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Investor Relations at Target Hospitality Corp., successfully guiding the company through its initial public offering and securing substantial debt financing.

Sahai’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from Thapar University in India, where he graduated valedictorian, and a Master of Business Administration with High Distinction from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is also a CFA® Charterholder.
