Singapore’s First Commercial Podcast Studio Launches

Singapore – Ideal Systems, a leading provider of NDI video solutions across Asia, has partnered with NIN9 Studios, a renowned commercial photography studio in Singapore, to offer high-quality commercial video podcast production services. This collaboration leverages Ideal Systems’ expertise in NDI technology to transform NIN9 Studios into a state-of-the-art facility for podcast creation and live streaming.
Revolutionizing Podcast Production with NDI Technology
NIN9 Studios, located in Kallang, has undergone a meaningful upgrade with a new fit-out from Ideal Systems. This enhancement enables the studio to deliver professional-grade video production and streaming for commercial podcasts. The core of the new setup is Ideal Systems’ NDI reference architecture, featuring the VizRT TriCaster TC1 Pro and a TriCaster Dual Flex control panel.
This powerful combination facilitates top-tier production and live streaming capabilities, supporting multi-camera inputs from BirdDog NDI HX X4 Ultra cameras and DSLRs, along with multiple audio channels. The system also integrates graphics and teleprompting functionality powered by Telescript International. Productions can be filmed in NIN9 Studios’ fixed studio surroundings or utilize virtual sets within the TriCaster. Furthermore,the tricaster seamlessly integrates with Microsoft teams and Zoom,allowing for live video conferencing directly within podcast productions.
The studio’s production control room (PCR) is equipped with Kiloview NDI infrastructure. This includes Kiloview encoders for converting SDI to NDI from DSLR cameras and Kiloview decoders for NDI to HDMI output to a large Hisense video display. The award-winning Kiloview CUBE R1 recorder system is also in place to capture and store high-quality video content from multiple NDI video sources.
