On September 11, 2024, Phurit Bhirombhakdi, Managing Director of Boon Rawd Brewery Company Limited, hosted a “Welcome Thai Para-Hero” party to honor the success of Para Thai athletes. The event celebrated the athletes’ historic win of 30 medals at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, France.
Mr. Phurit Bhirombhakdi revealed, “Boon Rawd Brewery Company Limited has been the main sponsor of all sports associations for the disabled since 2005. We believe that before an athlete develops themselves, they must be willing to make sacrifices. The end result is not the only thing that matters; it’s the dedication and representation of the Thai people that counts.”

“Singha would like to thank all 79 Thai Paralympic athletes and coaching staff, as well as the sports associations for the disabled, for creating a phenomenon at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, France. Everyone is proud and inspired by their bravery and determination to follow their dreams and achieve success.”
The Thai athletes have made history by winning 6 gold medals, 11 silver medals, and 13 bronze medals, totaling 30 medals and ranking 21st in the world. This achievement surpasses their previous record at the 2016 Brazil Paralympic Games, where they won 6 gold, 6 silver, and 6 bronze medals, finishing in 23rd place.

Singha has awarded prize money to the athletes, with gold medal winners receiving 1,000,000 baht each, silver medal winners receiving 500,000 baht, and bronze medal winners receiving 300,000 baht, totaling 15,400,000 baht. Saisunee Jana, a historical athlete and owner of 3 gold medals in fencing, expressed her gratitude to Singha for their support.
“I would like to thank Singha for their support and encouragement. Since the late Mr. Chutinan Bhirombhakdi, the former president of the Paralympic Committee of Thailand, sent his condolences to me, and now with the current president, Lt. Nayanop Bhirombhakdi, who encourages and supports me, I have been able to succeed today.”

In addition to the prize money, Singha is also rewarding the commitment and determination of all athletes and officials, totaling 157 people, with 40,000 baht each, totaling 6,280,000 baht. The total cash prizes given by Singha to athletes and officials of the 2024 Paralympic Games amount to 21,680,000 baht.
The event featured concerts by Jazz, Spooknik, Papiyong, and Kukkuk, who performed to bring fun to the Thai Jazz heroes. The song “Go Toor” was composed for the Thai Paralympic team to thank them for their dedication and unyielding heart.
