World No. 1 tennis star Jannik Sinner is exploring a new role: vocalist. The Italian athlete has teamed up with renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli to release “Polvere e Gloria” (Dust and glory).
In this unique collaboration, Sinner delivers spoken-word segments that complement Bocelli’s signature operatic vocals.The song, a blend of English and Italian lyrics, is accompanied by a music video featuring glimpses into Sinner and Bocelli’s childhoods, as well as scenes of the pair performing together.
Sinner described the duet as a deeply moving experience. He expressed his honor in working with Bocelli, acknowledging the tenor’s 30-year legacy as a prominent figure for Italy on the global stage. the tennis star admitted he never imagined his voice would feature in one of Bocelli’s songs.
