The⁣ “Minecraft Movie” remains the box​ office ‍champion, securing the top position on the Official⁢ Film​ Chart for a third consecutive week. Meanwhile, “Sinners,” a new supernatural‌ horror directed by ryan Coogler, made a splash, debuting at⁤ No.3.

“Sinners” tells the story of twin World War‍ I ‌veterans Smoke and Stack Moore, played ‌by Michael B. Jordan, who return to Clarksdale, Miss., after working for​ the​ Chicago Outfit. They team up ⁣wiht‍ their cousin Sammie Moore, portrayed by Miles‌ caton, to open a juke joint using money stolen from Hogwood, ‍a racist ⁣landowner‍ played by Dave Maldonado.

though, their⁤ plans face potential disruption due to warnings from ‍their pastor father,‌ Jedidiah, played‍ by⁣ Saul williams, who⁣ believes ⁤blues music is supernatural.
