Sinulog Festival Attendance Surpasses 5 Million Visitors
CEBU CITY – Over 5 million people poured into Cebu city on Sunday as Sinulog 2026 filled the streets adn major venues with nonstop music, dance and devotion, drawing one of the largest crowds in the festival’s history.
Contingents from Tagbilaran City and Tribu Masadyaon of Toledo City stood out,dominating the Sinulog-based (SB) and Free interpretation (FI) categories,respectively,in the early results of the Grand Parade and Ritual Showdown.
Crowd estimates in the Sinulog Festival 2026 Grand Parade and ritual Showdown reached approximately 5.2 million, based on the 8:27 p.m. report by the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management office (CDRRMO) on Sunday.
The total included an estimated 150,000 spectators at the Cebu City Sports Center, the venue of the Sinulog 2026 Grand Ritual Showdown.
