Six Decades of Sartorial Splendor: Paul Smith’s 60-Year Tailoring Legacy Takes Center Stage in Upcoming Exhibition
Paul Smith is a renowned brand that brought humor to the strict world of British suiting, creating a unique style that has captivated audiences worldwide.
The upcoming exhibition, “Frame around the Photograph: 60 Years of Paul Smith Tailoring,” offers a fascinating opportunity to delve into the brand’s rich history.
Paul Smith himself compares the suit to ”a frame surrounding a photograph or painting,” highlighting the importance of tailoring in his designs.
This exhibition showcases the past and present of tailoring, which is at the heart of the Paul Smith story. Visitors can explore the brand’s appeal from various perspectives, including archive pieces, introductions to designers’ philosophies, and video content.
The exhibition shop will feature items from the 2024 fall/winter season, including a commemorative men’s suit with a lining featuring one of the most popular prints from previous collections.
Women’s items include a beautiful lineup of floral print shirts and skirts, perfect for adding a touch of elegance to any outfit.
Men’s suit ¥132,000
Women’s items include shirts from top ¥40,700, ¥79,200, pleated skirts ¥61,600
