Basketball Without Borders Asia 2024: A Rare Opportunity for Young Players
A Unique Chance to be Coached by NBA Champion Aron Baynes
Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Asia, a joint initiative by the NBA and FIBA (International Basketball Federation), is set to take place in Perth, Australia, from September 19th to 22nd. Since its inception in 2001, BWB has provided a platform for over 4,500 participants from 142 countries and regions, with 127 former campers going on to play in the NBA and WNBA. This year’s event, the 14th BWB Asia 2024, will be held in conjunction with HoopsFest, organized by the NBL (National Basketball League) and supported by Basketball Australia.
The 2024 BWB Asia is expected to attract 60 top high school players from over 20 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. These young athletes will have the opportunity to be mentored by current and former players, legends, and coaches from the NBA, WNBA, and FIBA, including NBA champion Aron Baynes (Australia) and four-time WNBA champion Cynthia Cooper.

The event will culminate in a final ceremony, where outstanding on-court male and female players will be recognized with the Kim Bowney Camp MVP, Patrick Baumann Sportsmanship Award, 3-Point Champion, and Defensive MVP awards.
