Head Coach Kenzo Maeda
After losing in the Tohoku Cup last week, we have three more games this week, and our challenge this time was to see how much we could grow as a team in such a difficult situation, such as adjusting our condition. I don’t think we were satisfied with the content, and although we saw good things in both defense and offense, I have a strong feeling that we won’t be able to reach a higher level if we stay as we are now. I think the biggest challenge is how we can improve tomorrow on areas such as not being able to connect defense to offense well and taking poor shots.
However, this time the match was held in Odate, so we were able to play in a home-like atmosphere for the first time this season, and we are very grateful for that. We are also happy to be able to play here again tomorrow.

Our first goal is to win, so I’m glad we were able to win the match.
The team is still in the growth stage, and we are working on how to improve our chemistry while taking into account each other’s characteristics and what we want to do as a team, but we are still at a stage where mistakes are still occurring.
There were several instances today when things didn’t go as we wanted.
In the middle of the second quarter, Head Coach Maeda called me and told me to shoot with all my might, and in the second half I was able to shoot with confidence and no hesitation.
