Power Construction Cup Employee Basketball ⁤League‌ Kicks Off

The final stage of the 2024 ‍”Power Construction Cup” Employee Basketball League officially kicked off on September 2, as ⁢part of the company’s efforts ⁣to fully implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee.

Wang Bin, deputy secretary of the company’s party committee and general manager, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. He congratulated the successful holding of the “Power Construction Cup” employee basketball league and ​pointed ‍out that the event has ​united people’s hearts, boosted ‌morale, created a strong atmosphere for doing things and starting businesses, and injected surging ⁢kinetic energy for making achievements.

Exciting Matches and Enthusiastic Audience

On the ⁢first ⁤day⁤ of the game, the ⁢players on the field quickly entered ⁤the‍ state, fired​ up and competed fiercely,⁤ with breakthroughs, assists, jump shots, rebounds, ​steals, and three-pointers. The audience outside the field was enthusiastic, cheering and cheering for the players on both sides, which resounded throughout the​ stadium, fully stimulating the collective sense of‍ honor and pride of ⁤the⁣ power construction workers.

The competition⁢ site also set up fancy dunks, ⁢aerobics‌ performances, and other links, and adopted picture and video live‍ broadcasts to facilitate the majority of ‌cadres and workers to watch the game​ immersively.

Competition Arrangement and ⁢Awards

According to‌ the competition ⁣arrangement, the employee basketball league started in​ early June. A total of‍ 67 teams from the headquarters and 69 subsidiaries participated in the competition, competing in 6 ​union cooperation areas. ‌8 teams entered the final ⁢stage of the ⁢competition.

The 8 teams were divided ‍into two‍ groups, A and B. The group stage adopted a single ‍round-robin⁢ system. The top two advanced to the semi-finals. The ​semi-finals adopted ⁤a‍ cross-elimination system, and finally‍ the champion, runner-up, and third place were decided.​ The competition also set up awards such as the best athlete, the best organization, and outstanding performance.
