HuaWei Electronics Employee Basketball Competition: A Showcase of Team Spirit and Sportsmanship

In August 2024, HuaWei Electronics hosted an exciting employee basketball competition, bringing together top players from various departments, including chip manufacturing, eight-inch line project, functional departments, power support, and Jihua Microelectronics. Six powerful teams competed in a thrilling tournament, showcasing their skills and teamwork.

The competition adopted a single round-robin system, making each game intense and unpredictable. Over the course of two weeks, players gave their all, demonstrating the tenacious and courageous spirit of HuaWei Electronics employees. The tournament culminated in the announcement of the champion, runner-up, third place, and individual honors.

The chip manufacturing department’s five-inch line team emerged as champions, showcasing their exceptional teamwork, technical skills, and tactical prowess. The eight-inch line project department and functional power joint team secured runner-up and third place, respectively, with outstanding performances.

Individual awards were also presented, with Cao Liang from the chip manufacturing department’s five-inch line team earning the title of “three-point king” for his impressive three-point shooting. Huang Chengzhi from the six-inch line representative team won the “scoring king” title, demonstrating his comprehensive scoring ability and exceptional court performance.
