TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO: A New Home for Alvark Tokyo and Sunrockers Shibuya

B.LEAGUE professional basketball teams Alvark Tokyo and Sunrockers Shibuya have reached an agreement to jointly use the TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO as their home arena starting from the 2026-27 season.
The operating company of Toyota Arena Tokyo is Toyota Alvark Tokyo, and the arena construction project is being jointly promoted by Toyota Motor Corporation, Toyota Motor Corporation, and Toyota Real Estate. Toyota Motor Corporation has acquired the naming rights to the arena.
The home arenas for the 2025-26 season will be Alvark Tokyo’s Toyota Arena Tokyo, while Sunrockers Shibuya’s home arenas will be Aoyama Gakuin Memorial Hall (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo). From the 2026-27 season, two clubs, Alvark Tokyo and Sunrockers Shibuya, will use Toyota Arena Tokyo as their home arena.
Since Sunrockers Shibuya’s hometown will be moved from Shibuya Ward to Koto Ward, the club’s name will be changed upon the move.
The area of Toyota Arena Tokyo is approximately 27,000 m2, the total surface area is approximately 37,000 m2. It will have 6 floors above ground and 1 basement, will accommodate approximately 10,000 guests and is expected to be completed in June 2025.
