General Tryout Information
For those interested in joining the Shizuoka Youth Vertex, please note the following:
- Please apply, and we will coordinate the tryout date with the person in charge.
- Participant tryouts are open at any time.
- The schedule for group tryouts will be announced on the official website.
- We will contact you again regarding the results.
- Participation fees must be paid in cash only, with exact change not given.
Tryout U18
September 2024 ~ Practice Participation Experience
Application period: Applications are accepted throughout the year.
Location: Former Tokai Junior College Gymnasium or Shizuoka City Gymnasium
Time: 18:00-21:00 (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday) *Subject to change
Application requirements: 15 to 18 years old
Participation fee: 1,100 yen per session
January 2025 – Group Tryouts
Recruitment period: 2-3 times a year (usually held in summer and winter)
Notes: January - Tryouts for this year and next year (for the championship, next year’s team)
Participation fee: 3,300 yen per try
Tryouts U15 Boys
August 2024 ~ Practice Participation Experience

Application requirements: 12-15 years old
Participation fee: 1,100 yen per session
3rd Week of November 2024 – Group Tryouts
Application period: 2-3 times a year (usually held around summer and winter)
Participation fee: 3,300 yen per session
Tryouts U15 Girls
August 2024 ~ Practice Participation Experience
Application period: Applications are accepted throughout the year.
Location: Eiwa Girls’ Junior and Senior High School
Hours: 19:00-21:00 Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays *Subject to change
Application requirements: 12-15 years old
Participation fee: 1,100 yen/session

Tryout U12
September 2024 ~ Practice Participation Experience

Time: Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays *Times may vary
Application requirements: 10 to 12 years old
