Goyang Hans Basketball Club: A Community for Basketball Lovers
Goyang Hans Basketball Club, an adult basketball team based in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, is recruiting new members. The club operates two programs: a training-focused adult basketball class and a game-focused adult basketball club program. Both programs are designed for adult men and women who share a passion for basketball.
Established in 2009, Goyang Hans has grown to become a community of over 400 members who have learned and enjoyed basketball together. The club’s appeal extends beyond Goyang City, attracting participants from other regions. This new member recruitment aims to fill gaps in team members and inject fresh energy into the team.
Goyang Hans Adult Basketball Class: A Fun and Supportive Environment
The Goyang Hans Basketball Club meets regularly at the Jesus Love Sharing Welfare Center Gymnasium, located in Haengsin-dong, Deogyang-gu, Gyeonggi-do. Meetings take place every Friday and Sunday at 8 p.m. The gymnasium is easily accessible, just a 10-minute walk from Haengsin Station on the Gyeongui Line.
Goyang Hans aims to create a passionate and friendly atmosphere where members can improve their skills and have a great time. Any adult male or female with a basic understanding of basketball and good manners is welcome to join. New members can enjoy various benefits, including discounts on sports equipment at Nike Itaewon Town and exclusive discounts on basketball gear.
Professor Lee Hyeong-ju, a former national basketball team coach for the deaf and current professor at Hongik University, serves as the head coach of Goyang Hans. Team leader Lee Jun-min, a seasoned coach with numerous awards, oversees training as the A coach. Members have the opportunity to participate in various league games and the Han Ki-beom Basketball School basketball competition, gaining valuable experience and improving their skills.
Goyang Hans records all games and shares them with members, providing a chance to analyze and improve their performance. This approach has been a key factor in the team’s continuous improvement over the years. With 17 years of experience and expertise, Goyang Hans offers a fun and safe environment for new members to learn and grow.
The participation fee for the adult basketball classroom program is 100,000 won per month, while the adult basketball club program costs 80,000 won per month. Uniforms are available for 60,000 won. Director Lee Hyeong-ju emphasizes that Goyang Hans is more than just a team – it’s a family that supports and encourages each other’s growth.
