The first “Freshman Cup” three-on-three basketball league in 2024 was held at our school from September 10 to September 20. A total of 336 student athletes from 21 colleges and departments participated in the competition, with teams from various colleges, including Vocational and Technical College, China Gas Engineering College, Home Economics College, Conservatory of Music, Fine Arts and Design College, Computer Network and Security College, Software College, Journalism and Communication College, and others.
The competition was divided into men’s and women’s groups, with the top eight teams in each group competing in the knockout stage. The men’s group consisted of teams from Vocational and Technical College, China Gas Engineering College, Home Economics College, Conservatory of Music, Fine Arts and Design College, Computer Network and Security College, Software College, and Journalism and Communication College. The women’s group consisted of teams from Marxism College, History and Culture College, Software College, Physics College, Business School, Conservatory of Music, Primary Education Department, and Chemistry and Materials Science College.
The competition was a huge success, with student athletes showcasing their skills and teamwork. The event was organized by the Department of Public Physical Education, and we look forward to future competitions.
