Na Jomtien Police Investigate Throat⁢ Slitting Case of Young Ex-Security Guard

A young security guard’s body was discovered with​ his throat​ slit in ​a ​room at the ‍Eua-Athorn Village Housing Project in Na Jomtien, Chonburi Province. The police ⁣are currently investigating‍ the case, ⁤and after questioning three people, including the deceased’s father, friend, ‍and a witness, they believe it may‍ not be a murder but a self-inflicted death.

Investigation and Evidence​ Collection

Colonel Wattanachai Saengrit, Superintendent of‍ Na⁣ Jomtien Police ⁤Station, revealed that‍ the police are collecting‍ evidence,‌ including fingerprints and DNA, from the crime scene. The CCTV cameras ⁢near the room⁣ where ​the incident occurred were also examined, showing that only two people lived in the room, the father and the⁢ deceased.

According to the CCTV footage,‌ the deceased, Mr. Anucha Kongkruea, returned to his room at 1:04 pm on September​ 20. Four minutes later, his father, Mr. Wichai Kongkruea, left ‍the ‌room and never returned. The ⁢deceased was alone ⁢in‍ the room until‌ his body was discovered.

Initial Findings and Hypothesis

The police⁢ found‍ no ⁣signs of ​fighting or looting, and the cutting weapon used​ in the crime was found in a pool of the deceased’s blood.⁢ The forensic division collected fingerprints and DNA for examination,⁣ as well as marijuana use equipment. The police believe​ that the case may⁣ not be⁤ a ‍murder but a self-inflicted death, but ​they are waiting for the results of the forensic​ autopsy.

Witness Accounts

Many witnesses⁢ confirmed ⁣that the deceased had consumed marijuana and kratom regularly, which may have caused ‌symptoms of paranoia and erratic behavior. A⁢ security guard ​at the Na Jomtien housing project, Mr. Somwang Nuanmusik, told reporters ​that the ⁣deceased was a quiet person who‌ did not associate with anyone and had previously run away from them due to fear of being caught drinking kratom juice.
