SK Slavia Praha drew 1:1 with FK Mladá Boleslav in the 12th round of the Chance Liga on October 24, 2026, extending their winless run across all competitions to four matches. Mojmír Chytil scored an 86th-minute equalizer for the hosts at the Fortuna Arena in Eden, canceling out an early opening goal from former Slavia player Martin Šubert.
Early Defensive Errors Give Mladá Boleslav the Lead
The match began with the home team attacking towards their own fan base in the Tribuna Sever. Mladá Boleslav seized control in the 15th minute when Jiří Klíma passed to Solomon John, who set up the goal. Slavia defender Samuel Isife attempted to clear the resulting cross toward the back post, but his mis-hit deflection fell directly to Šubert, who tapped the ball into an empty net. The strike marked Šubert’s seventh goal of the domestic season, solidifying his lead in the league scoring chart and bringing Mladá Boleslav their first goal at the Fortuna Arena in four years. Earlier in the seventh minute, Michal Sadílek sent a sharp cross from the left side for Emmanuel Ayaosi, whose shot went wide into touch.

The defensive lapse forced Slavia to play from behind in front of 17,528 spectators in Eden. Ukrainian youth international Domčak joined Slavia. Despite holding territorial dominance, the home side failed to capitalize on first-half chances, including a missed shot by Wiktor Nowak over the crossbar after Chytil laid the ball off to him in the 23rd minute. Mladá Boleslav adhered to coach Aleš Majer’s philosophy of playing out of the press with short passes rather than clearing the ball aimlessly, and threatened again in the 26th minute through the combination of Klíma and John, whose diagonal shot was saved reflexively by Domčak.
Video Assistant Referee Overturns First-Half Penalty
Referee Karel Rouček maintained his traditional loose officiating style before pointing to the penalty spot in the 43rd minute after a foul on Tomáš Holeš by Martin Králik, who arrived late in the duel of experienced defenders. However, video assistant referee Jana Adámková intervened. Rouček subsequently canceled the penalty upon viewing replays that showed Králik did not touch Holeš initially and that contact only occurred as the Slavia captain was already falling to the ground, preserving Mladá Boleslav’s 1:0 lead heading into the intermission.

Slavia thought they had equalized in the 55th minute when Provod bundled the ball past goalkeeper Vojtěch Vorel following a set piece, but Rouček could not allow the goal because of a previous unintentional handball by Chytil, as arm or hand play is strictly prohibited in any goal-scoring sequence according to the rules of football. Chytil later hit the crossbar with a header in the 63rd minute from a right-wing cross by David Moses and saw another close-range attempt stopped by Vorel. Ayaosi fired a low shot from outside the box past the post in the 75th minute, and Vorel also tipped a powerful long-range drive from Oskar Kubiak over the bar in the 84th minute after Kubiak had sent a low effort wide earlier in the second half.
Chytil Secures Late Equalizer to Prevent Defeat
Slavia’s persistent pressure finally paid off in the 86th minute through Chytil. Emmanuel Ayaosi broke down the right flank and delivered a low, driven cross that Chytil slid past Vorel at the far post for his first goal since August. The strike marked his fifth goal of the league campaign, pulling him level with Nowak in the team scoring charts, and rescued a point for the reigning champions. Slavia remains the only team undefeated in the league season, sitting atop the league table with 28 points from 12 matches, seven points ahead of second-place Mladá Boleslav.
Upcoming Domestic Cup and League Fixtures Ahead
Slavia is scheduled to host Zbrojovka Brno, while Mladá Boleslav faces Bohemians. In the next round of league matches, Slavia will travel to play Jablonec on October 31, 2026, and Mladá Boleslav will meet Hradec Králové on November 1, 2026.
