Bambitious Nara Launches JP Smile Project to Bring Smiles to Children
Bambitious Nara is excited to announce the launch of the “JP Smile Project,” a new initiative aimed at bringing joy and inspiration to children in Nara Prefecture. As part of this project, our club player, #24 Junpei Honda, will visit local teams to share the “fun of sports” and “fun of basketball,” with the goal of empowering young minds and fostering bright futures.
We are now inviting teams to participate in this exciting project. If your team is interested in hosting a clinic with Honda, please review the recruitment details below and submit your application through our online form. We look forward to receiving your application and working together to bring smiles to the faces of Nara’s young athletes.
Recruitment Details
Implementation Period: The project will run until June 30, 2025. Our team will contact selected applicants to arrange a date and time for the clinic.
Target: The project is open to teams of elementary school students to high school students who are registered members of the Nara Prefecture Basketball Association.
Fees: Participation is free, but teams are required to enroll in sports insurance themselves.
Venue: Applicants are responsible for arranging and securing the venue and equipment.
Time: Clinic sessions will last approximately 90 to 120 minutes.
Application Process
- Submit your application through our online form.
- Our club staff will contact the selected team to discuss details.
- Scheduling will be arranged based on mutual availability.
- We will listen to your team’s requests and discuss training details.
- Honda will visit your team for the clinic.
- As a token of appreciation, we will invite your team to a Bambitious Nara home game.

- Photos and videos taken during the clinic may be published on our official website and social media channels.
- Each team will be eligible for one visit during the project period.
- The target area for this project is Nara Prefecture.
