Smokey Robinson Countersues Housekeepers for $500M in Defamation

Motown legend Smokey robinson has filed a $500 million defamation lawsuit against four former housekeepers who accused him of sexual assault earlier this month. The 85-year-old singer and his wife, Frances, claim the women fabricated their allegations to extort money.
The women, who remain anonymous, alleged that Robinson subjected them to multiple sexual assaults between 2007 and 2024. They also accused Robinson and his wife of labor violations, including failing to pay minimum wage and overtime, submitting inaccurate wage statements, and creating a antagonistic work habitat.
