Apple has released iOS 18.2 beta software for the second time, allowing developers participating in Apple’s testing program to be the first to try it. It has been found that the focus and exposure lock function has been added to Camera Control.
After updating to iOS 18.2, owners of all four iPhone 16 series models will be able to enable focus and exposure lock on Camera Control in the Settings > Camera app.

Once activated Users can lightly press and hold the camera control to lock both focus and exposure. And the camera settings will remain locked until the user releases their finger from the button.
Apple is expected to release iOS 18.2 for general users to update in the first week of December.
