A social media influencer known online as Klaudiaglam has died six days after being struck by a vehicle outside a London nightclub, police confirmed.
Klaudia Zakrzewska, 32, from Essex, was hit on Argyll Street in Soho at approximately 4:30am BST on 19 April 2026. She was taken to hospital following the collision but succumbed to her injuries on Saturday, 25 April 2026.
The incident also left a 58-year-old man with life-changing injuries, while another woman sustained a minor wrist injury. Emergency services responded to the scene near the Inca nightclub on Argyll Street.
Gabrielle Carrington, 29, of Broadfield Road, Manchester, was driving the vehicle involved. She had previously appeared as one of the three members of the group Miss Dynamix in the live finals of The X Factor in 2013 and maintains over 365,000 followers on Instagram under the handle RIELLEUK.
Carrington was initially charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving, and drink driving. Following Zakrzewska’s death, the Metropolitan Police confirmed that the attempted murder charge would be amended to murder.
She appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 21 April 2026 and was remanded into custody to stand trial at the Old Bailey on 19 May 2026.
Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell, leading the investigation, stated: “We would like to express our deepest sympathies to Klaudia’s family and friends in light of this tragic update. Our thoughts are also with everyone impacted by this.”
Zakrzewska had built a significant following as a lifestyle and beauty influencer, amassing more than 270,000 followers on Instagram. Her mother described her in a fundraiser as having a “pure heart,” adding: “This is the most devastating time our family has ever faced.”
The case has drawn widespread attention on social media, though authorities have urged the public to refrain from speculation as legal proceedings continue.
