Orihuela Costa, FL – Get ready too lace up your sneakers, seniors! The city of Orihuela Costa is hosting the third annual “Seniors on the Move” event on November 27th, promising a day of fitness, fun, and community.
The event, organized by the Department of Social Welfare in collaboration with the Sports Department, will kick off at 10:00 am on the Playa flamenca Esplanade.”We’re thrilled to bring back this popular event for our active seniors,” said Agustina Rodríguez,Councilor for Social Welfare. “It’s a fantastic chance for them to enjoy some exercise, socialize, and celebrate healthy aging.”

Participants will enjoy a two-kilometer walk around the Playa Flamenca Esplanade, followed by a delicious lunch and a variety of activities, including dancing, yoga, and geriatric gymnastics. The event is expected to draw around 400 seniors from the Orihuela Costa community.
Local artist “LeilaCollage” has onc again designed the event poster and trophies, adding a touch of local flair to the festivities.

Beginning at 10:00 am, participants will embark on a two-kilometer walk around the scenic Playa Flamenca Esplanade. Following the walk, a tasty lunch will be served, followed by a variety of engaging activities such as dancing, yoga, and geriatric gymnastics. With an expected turnout of around 400 seniors, the event promises to be a vibrant celebration of active living.
Adding to the local charm, the event poster and trophies have been designed once again by renowned local artist “LeilaCollage”.
