Songstress of Drama: Tamer Ashour’s Musical Masterpiece in Al-Riyadh Newspaper
Tamer Ashour: The Maestro of Dramatic Song
Tamer Ashour: Jeddah Fans are Different
Tamer Ashour, sponsored by the General Entertainment and Regulatory Authority (GEA) and supervised by “Punchmark”, performed a classical concert at the “Abadi Al-Jawhar Arena” theater in Jeddah Governorate.
During the three-hour concert, Ashour presented a group of his most beautiful songs, which received great public interaction. The audience spent wonderful moments, repeating the lyrics with Tamer Ashour, including: “He will come to me in pain, you will miss us, tell him every day Samah, the gain of my life.”
The songs in the concert witnessed a distinct difference led by maestro Hani Farhat, as he added Gulf rhythms to most of the songs presented by Ashour.
Ashour expressed his exceptional relationship with the audience in Jeddah, evident during the interaction with his songs. He was happy to sing at the music building, Abadi Al-Jawhar Arena, and expressed appreciation for the excellent capacity available, which enabled the audience to hear well.
Ashour describes his genre as “drama” in a different artistic form, which has given him a color and distinguished him among his fellow singers. This genre has foundations, rules, performance, and a specific method of music, making it one of the most difficult forms of singing that transforms feelings of love and sadness into joy and a melodious lyrical palette rich in music and attractive performances.
Ashour wanted to present Gulf melodies and songs, insisting that he was looking for words that would enable him to master the Gulf dialect. He was interested in introducing Gulf rhythms in his songs, which have gained wide public acceptance, particularly from Gulf and Saudi listeners, with whom he has friendly relations.
The dramatic song contributed to the success of Tamer Ashour.
