England has recalled Sophie Ecclestone, the left-arm spinner, for the upcoming five-match T20 series against India. This marks Ecclestone’s return to the national side after a period of prioritizing her wellbeing and recovering from a quad injury.
Ecclestone, 26, had previously taken a break from domestic cricket. she missed England’s T20 and ODI series wins against the West Indies earlier this year due to a knee injury sustained at the Women’s Premier League in India. She did play two one-day matches and six T20s for Lancashire before the quad injury sidelined her.
