The victim, identified as Alia Begum, a resident of Dakshinpuri, had already been transported to AIIMS Trauma Center by her son-in-law.Sadly,she was declared unfit for statement and later succumbed to her injuries.
“The driver fled the spot immediately after the accident,” a senior police officer stated. “We are currently working to trace the vehicle’s owner and the driver responsible.”

An FIR has been registered at the ambedkar Nagar police station under relevant sections of the Bharatiya nyaya Sanhita. The abandoned autorickshaw has been seized as evidence, and forensic analysis will be conducted to gather further clues.
