The first men’s singles match saw Spanish player Agut face off against Lecka. Agut, donning a yellow shirt, had previously won both of their past matches. This time around, each set saw one break, with Agut winning 6 points in a row in the tiebreak, securing a 7-1 victory. Despite scoring 12 points, 17 less than his opponent, Agut’s 10 errors were significantly fewer than Lecka’s 27. Alcaras then paired up with Canunas in the men’s doubles, securing another win for Spain.
