PP Demands Transport Minister ‍Puente’s Resignation Over Train ⁣Accident Statements

The Popular⁢ party (PP) is calling for ⁣the immediate resignation of Transport Minister Óscar Puente, alleging he misled the public regarding the circumstances surrounding the train accident in Adamuz, Córdoba. ⁢ PP Secretary General Miguel Tellado made the demand on Sunday, January 21, 2024, citing Puente’s “lies” as disqualifying him from holding office.

tellado stated during⁤ a press conference that Puente’s “careless” deception during a tragedy was unacceptable and undermined his credibility.
